Premier Eye Care ranks No. 7 in Tampa Bay Business Journal’s
Fast 50 list of fastest-growing private companies

TAMPA, Fla.(July 28, 2016)–Premier Eye Care has been ranked No. 7 on the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s “Fast 50” list, a ranking of the fastest-growing privately held companies based in the Tampa Bay area.

In the three-year timeframe used to determine the rankings, Premier’s annual revenues grew from $53.9million in 2013to $108.8 million in 2015, an increase of $54.9 million.

In terms of percentage growth, Premier grew by 102 percent, which ranked 20th among the companies on the list. Premier’s ranking was announced at the TBBJ’s Fast 50 luncheon on July 21 at T Pepin’s Hospitality Centre in Tampa.

On the same day, Premier was named again as one of the “Best Companies to Work for in Florida” by Florida Trend magazine, ranking No. 19 among midsized companies. It also made Florida Trend’s list, which is based on confidential employee surveys and companies’ policies, practices and demographics, in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

As it has grown, Premier has made it a priority to keep both employee engagement and quality of service at extremely high levels, knowing these factors are keys to consistent success.

“The outstanding performance of our team is ultimately the reason for our growth,” said Lorna Taylor, Premier’s President and CEO, “and our team’s commitment gives us the ability to expand while maintaining quality in all we do.”
